Daniel completed a full panel replacement for us, coordinated with Fortis for multiple power shutoffs, installed a surge protector, addressed some load concerns, and set up the electrical for our hot tub. The breaker kept tripping. Daniel was methodical checking each plug, all the wires, the heater and the panel until he found the short. It was on the exterior lights, that I never even considered, neither did the other electrician who was here earlier.

It depends on the existing service and what is already connected. A load check on the panel and service comes first, and if there is not enough capacity, a panel or service upgrade can be quoted alongside the charger or hot tub circuit so everything is sized properly from the start.
Yes. Underground feeders to detached garages, shops and outbuildings are regular acreage work. The route, the conductor size and the sub panel at the far end are planned before quoting, and the work is done to the Canadian Electrical Code and Alberta requirements, with a permit and inspection.
